We supported World Toilet Day by raising money in order to twin our toilets with another one in a different community. Our toilets are now twinned with 4 different countries around the world, including; Nepal, Uganda, Afghanistan and Myanmar. During the day we had a visit from Christian Aid, who talked about the importance of sanitation in Northern India.
After looking at the life of Martin Luther King Jr, the children came up with their own dreams for our school.
Even our youngest children are concerned about the amount of plastic in our ocean and thought of ways to solve this.
This is our Harvest collection. The food was donated to Project 5000, which feeds the needy in Loughborough.
Every child at St Michael's made a poppy to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War. We presented the banner to Mrs Meade at a special Remembrance Service.
